Recommended cash registers and fiscal printers
What matters when choosing?
Market stalls need low weight, battery power and a readable screen. Match connectivity to your locations; protect the device from moisture and extreme temperatures.
Cash register or fiscal printer?
A cash register works independently. A fiscal printer needs sales software and a device that sends it data. Check software compatibility before buying.
Register obligation and relief up to PLN 700
The obligation depends on sales activity and exemptions. Check your case with our tool or your accountant. Relief may cover 90% of the net price, up to PLN 700, subject to statutory conditions. It is not automatic for every replacement.
Fiscalisation and tax office registration
Fiscalisation is the formal activation of the fiscal memory. At fiskasy.pl it is carried out by an authorised technician and included in the device price. An online cash register connects to the Central Register of Cash Registers by itself, so no separate visit to the tax office is needed. Remember the mandatory technical inspection every 2 years.
Battery and connectivity at changing locations
Estimate hours away from a socket, receipt volume and opportunities to recharge. Manufacturer battery figures do not guarantee identical runtime with continuous printing and transmission. Charge the register, pack paper and verify the adapter before heading to a market. Protect the device from rain, frost and sunlight outside its specified conditions. Check signal at the actual stall location. Phone Wi-Fi needs a working phone and data plan; a SIM model needs a compatible modem and active service. Match the product database to the assortment and program shortcuts for frequent items. A terminal needs its own power and connectivity. Confirm recording obligations and product-specific exemptions with your accountant.
